Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Hawkeye Asset Management LLC (“Hawkeye”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use DashSlayer software, websites, and related services (the “Services”).

1. Scope

This Policy applies to all users worldwide, including business and consumer users, who access or use the Services. We strive to comply with applicable privacy laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, California CCPA and CPRA, Canada’s PIPEDA, and similar global requirements.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account and Contact Information. Name, email, phone number, organization, role, and authentication details you provide during sign up and use.
  • Payment Information. Subscription transactions are processed by third-party providers such as Stripe. We receive limited billing metadata and do not store full card details on our servers.
  • Usage and Device Data. IP address, device and browser type, settings, timestamps, pages and features used, crash logs, and diagnostics.
  • Cookies and Similar Technologies. Cookies, local storage, and identifiers to remember preferences, maintain sessions, and analyze product usage.
  • Third-Party Integrations. If you connect DashSlayer to third-party platforms or APIs, we receive information that service sends under your authorization.
  • Communications Metadata. If you enable SMS or voice notifications, we process your phone number and messaging telemetry such as time sent and delivery status. We do not record call content.
  • User-Generated Content. Data, files, or configurations you upload or generate in the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

3. How We Use Information

  • Provide and operate the Services, authenticate users, and deliver features you request.
  • Support and communicate about service notices, security alerts, and administrative messages.
  • Improve and personalize through analytics, quality assurance, and feature development.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions, invoices, and renewals.
  • Protect the Service through fraud detection, abuse prevention, and security monitoring.
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms, including handling lawful requests.
  • Marketing with your consent where required. You can opt out at any time.

4. SMS, Outbound Calls, and Marketing Communications

If you opt in, we may send text messages or make automated or live calls for verification, alerts, and marketing consistent with applicable law. Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP. You can opt out of marketing calls by telling the caller or contacting support. Mobile numbers provided for our texting program are not shared with third parties for their own marketing.

5. How We Share Information

  • Service Providers. Vendors that host, store, process payments, deliver email or SMS, provide analytics, and customer support. They act under contract and only as instructed.
  • Integrations you enable. We share data with a third-party integration when you connect it and as necessary to operate that integration.
  • Aggregated or de-identified data. We may share insights that do not identify you.
  • Legal and safety. Disclosure to comply with law, protect users, or defend our rights.
  • Business transfers. In a merger, acquisition, or reorganization, information may transfer to the successor subject to this Policy or equivalent safeguards.
  • With your consent. In any other way you direct or consent to.

We do not sell personal information.

6. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States and may process information in the US or other countries where we or our providers operate. When transferring data internationally, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, data processing agreements, or consent where required.

7. Data Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for promptly notifying us of suspected compromise.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or de-identify data. Backups are removed on a rolling schedule.

9. Your Rights and Choices

  • Access, correction, deletion, portability. Request a copy, correction, deletion, or portable file of your personal data subject to legal limits.
  • Objection and restriction. Object to or request restriction of processing in certain cases.
  • Consent withdrawal. Withdraw consent for marketing emails or texts at any time. Unsubscribe links are in emails. Reply STOP for SMS.
  • Cookie controls. Manage cookies through your browser or device settings.
  • Verification. We may verify identity before completing a request.

EU and UK users can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California residents can exercise CCPA and CPRA rights described below. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.

We rely on contract necessity to provide the Services, legitimate interests such as product improvement and security, consent where required for marketing communications and optional features, and legal obligations for compliance and record-keeping.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, contact us to request deletion.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the updated version and revise the “Last Updated” date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice as required. Continued use of the Services after the effective date signifies acceptance of the updated Policy.

14. Region-Specific Disclosures

California (CCPA and CPRA)

  • We do not sell personal information. We may share limited data with service providers to operate the Service.
  • California residents can request access, deletion, and correction. You can also opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising where applicable.
  • Authorized agents may submit requests with proof of authorization and identity.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom

  • We are a controller for account, billing, and product analytics data. For content you upload, we act as a processor under your instructions.
  • Transfers outside the EEA and UK rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful mechanism.
  • You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Canada (PIPEDA)

  • You may access and correct personal information we hold about you.
  • We store data in the US or other countries with contractual safeguards.
